"While many travelers chase landmarks, I usually search for the places between them"

My Mission

Hi, I’m Adri Unger — creator of Jet Lag Jelly, passport stamp collector, hobby photographer, and someone who’s always willing to take a questionable detour if there’s a chance it leads somewhere interesting.

While many travelers chase landmarks, I’m usually searching for the places between them: hidden viewpoints, quiet streets, forgotten corners, local cafés, and those photo spots that haven’t yet been geotagged into oblivion. These days, my camera of choice is simply my iPhone, proving that you don’t need a backpack full of expensive gear to capture memorable moments—you just need curiosity and a willingness to wander.

After visiting 71 countries (and counting), I’ve learned that the most rewarding travel experiences rarely happen in front of the world’s most famous attractions. They happen when you get lost on purpose, take the longer route, wake up before sunrise, or follow a recommendation from a local you’ve just met.

Jet Lag Jelly is where I share those discoveries—the hidden gems, the underrated destinations, the photography spots worth the early alarm, and the stories that happen when travel doesn’t go according to plan.

My goal is simple: reach 100 countries while documenting the journey along the way. Not as a checklist, but as a collection of experiences, photographs, and stories from every corner of the world.

If you’re looking for inspiration beyond the usual tourist trail, love finding unique photo locations, or simply enjoy travel stories fueled by curiosity, welcome aboard.

There’s always another flight to catch, another sunrise to photograph, and another hidden gem waiting around the corner.
